I doubt I could have built this for the price I paid. [...] Assembly was a snap with mostly long screws and wings. Other screws had lock-nuts built into the wood.It is lightweight, nice to move around the yard. The bottom can be wire grid, or the collecting pan. With nesting box, and back door, I suspect it can easily accommodate 3 - 4 chickens. I have it planned as a night roost for my 6 (now 1 week old).

I just bought it not too long ago. The top lid came off broken. I clean it just a couple of times and noticed the wood is not water resistant and the bottom pan rusted already!!!! will not buy it again. My quails are happy there cause is very sapious but I am not cause the materials are not durable. I spent good money and the quality is not to par.

The chicken coop was fairly easy to put together. It is attractive and seems roomy. It was a little more expensive but for me it was much easier than trying to buy the lumber and do it myself.I will see how it stands up to use when the chicks go outside.

        Best Uses

        • Firewood

[...] The wood is very flimsy. If you live in an area that's windy, I predict it won't last a year. Should have spend more to get quality.

Perfect size for my 2 chicks. Light enough to move around the yard to fertilize the grass in different areas. Easy pull out tray for cleaning if using inside barn or garage during cold weather.

          • Outdoors

Design is okay; however, the pan does not lock on either end and can easily slide out. The holes for the rooster is completely off and the nesting boxes do not fit easily behind it. Other holes do not match up and its difficult to put it together in certain areas (roof). It's not sturdy.
