Designed to house 12 to 15 chickens, the Horizon features six nest boxes inside. It is constructed with durable pressure-treated pine wood legs and a wood base, as well as Duratemp wood siding in your choice of painted finishes. It features a three-tab asphalt shingle roof in your choice of colors. A hinged drop vent with vinyl-coated metal mesh allows for air circulation, while two 18 x 22-inch slider windows with screens are also covered in vinyl-coated metal mesh. This mesh helps provide fresh air while protecting your chickens against predators. The chicken door measures 9 x 12 inches. A single front "people" door measures 18 x 48 inches. Inside the coop, you'll find a Glasbord floor and two wooden roost bars.

Collecting eggs from the Horizon Chicken Coop is easy: the nest boxes are easily accessible from the people door, so you don't have to go inside the coop. Cleaning is also simple; just sweep through the front or side door with a broom. The lids and doors latch open, so that you can have both hands free as you work.

This coop is mounted on swiveling wheels, which are heavy-duty enough to support plenty of weight and make it easy to move the coop around the yard as required. The side door locks with a twist handle and included key.

Finished in a rich color of your choice, this coop is designed specifically for the comfort of you and your chickens. It is elevated off the ground to keep chickens warm in the winter and cool in the summer, as well as dry during rainy seasons. A ramp is included for easy access.
