This coop is designed for 12 to 15 chickens and features six nest boxes inside. It is constructed with durable pressure-treated pine and batten wood legs and a wood base, and features a three-tab asphalt shingle roof in your choice of colors. A hinged drop vent with vinyl-coated metal mesh allows for air circulation, while two 18 x 22-inch slider windows with screens are also covered in vinyl-coated metal mesh. This mesh helps provide fresh air while protecting your chickens against predators. The chicken door measures 9 x 12 inches. A single front "people" door measures 18 x 48 inches. Inside the coop, you'll find a Glasbord floor and two wooden roost bars.

Collecting eggs from the Horizon Chicken Coop is easy: the nest boxes are easily accessible from the people door, so you don't have to go inside the coop. Cleaning is also simple; just sweep through the front or side door with a broom. The lids and doors latch open, so that you can have both hands free as you work.

This coop is mounted on swiveling wheels, which are heavy-duty enough to support plenty of weight and make it easy to move the coop around the yard as required. The side door locks with a twist handle and included key.
