This chicken house measures 6L x 4W feet and features six nesting boxes inside. This coop features durable 1/2 inch Duratemp exterior plywood, and comes in the color as shown (paintable). The Lancaster Standard Quaker Chicken House has a keyed entry door for security and a chicken door and chicken ramp for easy access for your feathered friends. The ventilation lid allows for greater air flow, keeping the interior fresher and your chickens healthier. This house comes standard with 25-year warranty asphalt shingles for piece of mind and pressure-treated rails stand up to inclement weather.

Ordered this item twice, both times it arrived damaged, never got the chance to see how it works, looks really great on paper. Wish it had been packaged for shipping better.

Terrible quality product. [...] One of the pieces was broken (this piece was in the middle of the package and had been painted over so there is no way that this was done during shipping, this piece was allowed to leave the shop by the builders when it should not have- showing a complete lack of quality control). There was also several screws poking through the panels were they had missed the stud that they were supposed to be attached to. Instead of backing them out and fixing it, the builders just left them there. Not only is that unsightly but it sacrifices the integrity of the building, so I'll have to fix all those as well. Lastly, it didn't come with any instructions. [...] what was sent to me was a joke, they were useless. They told me to "assemble" pieces but didn't tell me how. No mention of the type of screws to be used at various stages nor how many to use. They don't tell you how to complete the roof shingle and ridge and are very vague on the rest of the construction.I'm extremely disappointed with the quality of this coop considering the cost. It's as if the builders could have cared less just as long as they made a sale. If this is what is meant by "amish quality" then I don't want any part of it. This is the first and last product that I will buy from this company.

This coop is well suited for the small flock, maybe 8 chickens or less. It's attractive, ventilates well (important in our hot Texas weather), easy to clean and set up. It's too heavy to really move around easily so consider leaving it in one place longterm. My neighbors think it's "cute" and even had their Christmas card photos taken in front of it! This was the lowest price I could find for this particular coop. It comes partially assembled [...] but didn't take more than a couple of hours to set up. It's too low to be able to stand up inside but plenty of room for the flock.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
